Association for reduced tillage in Denmark.
The association was founded on July 12th, 1999. The purpose of the association latest statutes is to promote reduced tillage in Denmark.
In addition to promoting the area of plow-free cultivation, the association also works for better advice, development and research in the field to improve the members earnings on their land use while maintaining good and sustainable production.
This means that there is also a great deal of emphasis on both biodiversity in the arable land and climate solutions, which effectively reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. FRDK works on the above in Denmark as well as internationally and besides members in Denmark also has members in several European countries.
Furthermore, FRDK is a member of ECAF – the European Association for Conservation Agriculture.
