AgroTech is Danish Technological Institute's division for agriculture, food and bio-resources. We develop and test new technological opportunities with companies in the industries. AgroTech has strong competencies and laboratory facilities covering the entire food value chain - from optimized cultivation and management of plant biomass to biorefining technologies to food processing technologies, including plants for pilot-scale production of feed and machinery for full-scale field trials.
Each year, AgroTech has more than 600 different corporate customers who are offered access to state-of-the-art test facilities at both laboratory and pilot scale when new products and processes are to be developed. AgroTech leads and participates in more than 60 different company-focused R&D projects. This strong R&D base ensures a high level of competence.
